2014 Save the Date
Welcome to Marketplace Women of Orange County, where we meet once a month to inspire each other as we seek to integrate our professional, personal and spiritual lives. We are working women of all capacities, from education and government to corporate and private to volunteer work and community. We benefit greatly from coming together, sometimes new business is gained, new insights are shared and almost all of the time, we leave restored and renewed.
Please join us on November 20th, for Vital Connections After Hours at Déjà New! We will share a new experience together as this venue is particularly unique, it is our first time supporting WHW (Women Helping Women/Men2Work), a non-profit that provides “comprehensive employment support services to empower disadvantaged men, women and teens to achieve economic self-sufficiency through employment success.” At Déjà New we will enjoy conversation about what it means to be “clothed in the Spirit”, light hors ‘d oeuvres and drinks and the best part is that we will have an opportunity to shop, with every dollar spent, directly benefiting WHW. We look forward to making our time together purposeful as we enter into this “holiday season of gratitude”.
Warmly in Christ,
Chair, Marketplace Women of Orange County

Vital Connections Mid-Day – October 2014
Marketplace Women’s October Vital Connections Mid-Day Luncheon on Tuesday, October 28th was attended by over 40 members and guests, who participated in the event’s discussion topic, Pressure vs. Purpose…how God uses pressure to bring about His purpose. Attendees enjoyed a luscious Pacific Club salad and dessert and heard the inspirational story of member and artist, Nancy Gunther, who shared how God used the pressures in her life to bring about purpose in her life. Nancy also shared three pieces of her mixed-media art with guests that spoke of God’s forgiveness, how loved His daughters are and that at times, He asks that we be still. Guest left with a bookmark reminder of Nancy’s art “Be Still” as well as three sparkly reminders that God love, love, loves them!
