As the idols of our heart are being stripped away through a crises situation, it is truly a blessing to be reminded where our contentment is truly coming from!

February 2020 Service Project
Marketplace Women spent a fun evening in fellowship with alumni of the Orange County Rescue Mission Program for Women! After a tasty dinner and lively conversation, the ladies spent some time creating Vision Books reflecting Professional, Personal and Spiritual goals. Pouring into each other's lives while tapping into our creativity was both relaxing and inspiring!
February 2020 Vital Connections
Marketplace Women started the day early collaborating about what it means to work for God and how God is working in each of us to build our character and build His Kingdom. A delicious breakfast and inspiring table talk was an awesome way to start the day! Each attendee also receive a "mustard seed" as a reminder that it is all the faith that is needed to move mountains!
January 2020 Vital Connections
It was an early morning for Marketplace Women who gathered for an inspirational discussion on God-given Vision and staying committed to it. The morning started with the Chinese Proverb, "If your Vision is for a year, plant wheat. If your Vision is for 10 years, plant a tree. If your Vision is for a lifetime, plant people." What a great way to start 2020!
December 2019 Annual Christmas Tea
Marketplace Women gathered on Friday, December 13th for our 14th Annual Christmas Tea, an elegant evening of celebration, fellowship and Christmas Cheer! With a table filled with delectable treats, a selection of heavenly teas and an inspiring message based on Romans 12:2, the evening was a blessed way to start the Christmas Holiday and a reminder that God has the power to transform us by changing our VISION!

Marketplace Women gathered early this morning for an inspirational discussion on Perspective and the difference in how we see things in the marketplace versus how God sees things. It was a great way to start the day and a remember that sometimes we need to "adjust the lens" and trust in God to tell our story.
October 2019 Vital Connections
Marketplace Women gathered early this morning for the first Vital Connections of the 2019-2020 Season at our new venue, the Assembly at Fight in Tustin! With our theme of VISION for the year, and our overriding scripture of 2 Corinthians 4:18, guests spent time sharing how the eternal focus makes a difference in their workplace. It was summed up as, “We can be a lens focused not on what is seen, but what is unseen. We can direct Gold’s light, not for a moment captured in earthly time, but for a picture that will last in Heaven’s time.” The morning was fun and inspiring as we were reminded by Andy Stanley in his book Visioneering that true VISION is “a clear mental picture of what could be, fueled by the conviction that it should be!”
September 2019 Summer Evening Gathering
Marketplace Women spent a wonderful summer evening at @flowersfromthethicket fellowshipping among the beautiful flowers and garden. Each guest had the opportunity to put together her own flower arrangement, which sparked lots of creativity, fun and laughter. Every bouquet turned out differently, but beautiful in its own way. After a delicious meal, Flowers from the Thicket owner, Carolyn Cavecche, who was the perfect hostess, shared her testimony about how God had put it on her heart to plant flowers on her land to share with everyone. It was an inspirational kick-off to the 2019-2020 Marketplace Women Season!
June 2019 Business Showcase
Marketplace Women gathered for a fun time of dinning and networking at our Annual Business Showcase! Guests were treated to a delicious meal and then had the opportunity to share their businesses with each other followed by lots of collaboration and laughter! And as wrap up for the 2018-2019 season, each attendee received a mini bulletin board with all of the featured scriptures from the year, a year when we explored what it meant to be "Anchored in the Lord!" Hebrews 6:19
May 2019 Vital Connections
Marketplace Women gathered together early for breakfast and to share on the topic of being "Willing to Rock the Boat." In our professional, personal and even spiritual lives, we tend to seek a world of comfort. We try to construct manageable lives with some security and predictability to maintain the illusion that we are in control. However, comfort keeps us from growth. Jesus is in the water. We are in the boat. Getting out of the boat requires us to climb to the edge, fixate our eyes on Jesus, lean over, rock the boat, and step out in faith.
